What an organization is

Everything in Treema HQ is organized in three layers, each nested inside the one before it.

Organization → workspaces → properties

Organization is the outermost boundary. It is created once, during sign-up, and holds:

• Identity — name, country, industry and company size, website.
• Ownership and admins — who is allowed to change organization-level settings.
• Plan and billing — the prepaid balance, the rate-card plan, payment methods and billing history.

Workspace is your team's working space, and belongs to exactly one organization. A single-property business typically has one; a multi-property group creates one per brand, region, or portfolio segment. Day-to-day work — guest conversations, tasks, storefronts, campaigns — happens inside a workspace, not at the organization level.

Property is a venue you operate — a hotel, hostel, apartment building or resort — and belongs to exactly one workspace.

So a group with three hotels run as one team has one organization, one workspace, and three properties inside it; the same group running each hotel as a separate team would put each property in its own workspace instead.

Who can manage the organization

Two roles exist at the organization level, separate from any role a person holds inside a workspace:

• Owner — exactly one person per organization: whoever created it, or whoever ownership has since been transferred to.
• Admins — any number of additional people the owner has designated.

Both the owner and admins can open the organization dashboard from the workspace sidebar, create new workspaces, and manage billing — the balance, the plan, and payment methods.

Two things are reserved for the owner alone: adding or removing admins, and transferring ownership to someone else. See Organization settings for exactly which parts of the settings page that restricts.
